Flood of 1931
These images are reproduced from the original negatives, (developed at Eggers Studio of Second St., Walla Walla, Phone 152,) which I scanned in and edited in the computer. The shots were snapped by a Whitman College professor Chambers who apparently lived in the vicinity of E Birch St.
Rare 1917 Panoramic View
Set of three postcards featuring consecutive photographs taken from the top of the gas plant's smokestack. The separate cards are shown here, as well as assembled views revealing a very seldom seen, eagle's- (or magpie's-) eye perspective of the entire downtown area of Walla Walla from the northeast.
Miscellaneous Images
Featuring 19th century engravings, an 1899 photograph of Main Street, photographs of families, a parade, a train car, school classes, and several structures no longer in existence.
Aerial Photographs
Vintage postcard views showing Walla Walla from above. May be especially appropriate viewing for hot-air balloonists.
